Product Manager (Digital)

We are excited to add an experienced Product Manager to our growing team. In this role, you will develop and execute digital strategies to drive business needs in our New York office.

Who you are:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience in product management with a focus on direct to consumer
  • Experience in Product Management within an e-Commerce company
  • Have done a re-platform or are familiar with site features like loyalty, auto replenishment, launching internationally
  • Excited to embrace and drive e-Commerce experience with innovative ideas and new integrations
  • Known for your ability to come up with solutions to any problem and resolve almost any issue
  • Eager to jump in as back‐up support for your fellow teammates and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Demonstrate strong analysis and problem-solving skills while juggling competing priorities
  • Exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet project deadlines head on
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills for managing forecasts and P&Ls
  • Understanding of when, with whom, and how best to communicate with various people at all levels
  • Vested interest in leading, building, and developing a team of direct reports
  • Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business 
  • Efficient in Google Analytics and Microsoft Office
  • Proven success managing external vendors with experience in an agile environment strongly preferred

What you’ll do:

Re-Platform 

  • Oversee re-platform of our website from Magento to Shopify Plus, including roadmap and budget
  • Manage external agency and internal stakeholders 
  • Identify KPIs and track re-platform success 

Consumer and Professional Experience

  • Manage product roadmap from kickoff to completion and drive product development from conception to launch of products
  • Manage development team’s schedule and release calendar based on eCommerce goals and initiatives
  • Research and recommend site platform enhancements to improve overall customer experience, back-end management, and growth sustainability
  • Define, prioritize, and communicate short and long-term product goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews and usability testing
  • Own products including direct to consumer eCommerce site, Stylist Finder, Hair Quiz, Loyalty, LMS and Pro Site

Analytics & Internal Products

  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly analytics reports that monitor key KPIs across all digital products
  • Utilize analytics and customer insight to identify conversion friction points, test different strategies that will improve conversion, AOV and overall site experience
  • Implement on-site A/B testing strategy
  • Manage all internal dependencies, maintain a deep understanding of internal stakeholders and friction points 
  • Ensure all internal products (ERP, LMS, Stylist Finder, etc.) are implemented efficiently and correctly. Continuously improve workflows 

Agency and Vendor Management

  • Manage external development agency. Identify key projects, track progress and hold agency accountable 
  • Oversee annual agency review; track agency spend and ensure projects are delivered on budget 
  • Research new agencies or outside partners as needed
